GREEN - Bold greens are making a graphic statement, with traditional furniture in a modern setting. Green also refers to the increased use of environmentally friendly and sustainable materials in design, such as bamboo flooring, recycled glass tiles, and fabrics made of natural fibres.

YELLOW - Sunny and fresh, intense yellow is modern and traditional, and is seen in fashion paired with black and white for spring and summer. Here are National Geographic magazines designer Jeffery Bilhuber used in his residence for a punch of yellow.

ETHNIC - This theme continues, with Moroccan inspired cutwork in lanterns and tooled leather, suzani and ikat fabrics, Japanese birds and cherry blossoms showing up in wallpapers and textiles, and the colours symbolizing the Olympics in Beijing.

NATURAL LUXE – The natural elements of 2007 are going glamorous with a touch of shimmer - showing up in floral wallpaper with bronzed sheen, shells, leaves, coral in metallic finishes. This is also noticed in fashion with metallic python shoes and handbags.

CHALET CHIC – Fur, leather, natural materials such as antlers, animal skin rugs and raw wood furniture has been a cozy and stylish look this winter, and should continue into fall 2008.
